McDonald's is bringing the heat this fall, and it's not just Godzilla's atomic breath in the most recent Hello Kitty Happy Meal.

Spicy Chicken McNuggets are returning to the fast-food franchise, according

to its menu spotter website. USA TODAY reports that the fiery flavor has been brought back for several runs in regional markets since they were initially introduced in September 2020.

The spicy nuggets and its accompanying hot dipping sauce join three varieties of caramel apple pie flavored McCafé coffees and the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer beverage as new items on the menu.

Spicy Chicken McNuggets are breaded in a spicy tempura coating made with a blend of aged cayenne and chili peppers.

And if you want an additional kick, you can add McDonald’s Mighty Hot Sauce to your order. The sauce features "crushed red pepper, spicy chilis, savory garlic and a hint of sweetness."
