The 2026 Solheim Cup has been chock-full of thrilling action thus far, and now we've arrived at Sunday, with Team USA and Team Europe tied at 8 points apiece.
The Europeans pulled ahead with 3 points in Saturday's
early foursomes session, bringing the total tally to 7-5 in favor of the blue and gold. They extended that lead to 8-5 early Saturday afternoon, but the Americans won each of the last three matches of the day in dramatic fashion to pull even, thanks in part to the heroics of Jennifer Kupcho.
Now, it all comes down to Sunday singles, where the Solheim Cup will be decided by a series oftwelve 1-on-1 matches. It's important to note that because the Americans are defending champions, they need just 6 points on Sunday to retain the cup, while Europe must earn 6½ to take it from them and keep the U.S. team from winning on foreign soil for the first time in more than a decade.

Where is the 2026 Solheim Cup being played?
This year, the Solheim Cup is at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. It's the first the the competition has been held in the Netherlands.
Who's on the teams for the U.S. and the Europeans?
Each side has 12 players. The U.S. team is led by Nelly Korda, one of the nine automatic qualifiers who were then joined by Stanford's three captain's picks. The European team had eight automatic qualifiers and then four captain's picks, made by Nordqvist.
Who won the last Solheim Cup?
Team USA won the 2024 Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia, 15½ - 12½. The Americans are trying to win on foreign soil for the first time since 2015.
